Lip Blushing - $500

This permanent makeup technique is definitely a “gloss-and-go” kind of treatment for clients who just want to boost their natural lips. Lip blushing can give you back any pigment you may have lost, improve the symmetry of your lips, and even add a youthfulness to your appearance. This isn’t a replacement for lipstick or lip filler, but it can help improve the overall appearance of your natural lips. The pigment that will be used will be discussed during the consultation, but we can do shades of nude and pink.

Why get lip blushing?

To regain pigment

Some people lose pigment in their lips or just have naturally pale lips, so it’s only natural for them to want to regain that colour back or add it where they never had it! Lip blushing can add that pop of colour to fix any pigment issues you have, and hide any scars on your lips that you’re insecure about.

To improve lip shape

While this service isn’t comparable to lip filler, and won’t give you an entirely new set of lips by increasing the size, I can reshape the lips in the sense where I fix up the symmetry with pigment. This can make your lips appear bigger than they were before having the treatment done.

 FAQs

  • Any permanent makeup service will give you some sort of discomfort, but very minimal. Lip blushing specifically is about a 4 out of 10 on the discomfort scale. Numbing gel is applied after each pass, and it gets more and more comfortable as we progress through the treatment, but the cupid’s bow is the most intense area.

  • You can expect to be at the salon for 2 hours when you book a lip blushing appointment with me.

  • Choosing a colour for lip blushing can be difficult. You don’t want to make the wrong decision because once the procedure is over, it’s stuck on your face. However, this is thoroughly discussed at the consultation so we can head into the procedure confident about the look you’re going to get. When unsure, I always recommend to start at the lightest or more natural shade you’re stuck between. I can always tweak the colour (somewhat) at the touch up appointment, especially if your initial colour was light.

  • Yes, you definitely can. Lip blushing isn’t exactly a replacement for lipstick, and while you might not need the extra pigment after getting this service done, you can still use lipstick or lip gloss! That won’t affect the results.
